Dispatch / Build Time & Delivery (UK Only)

Standard dispatch is within 5 working days (Monday-Friday) of your order. Express dispatch can be purchased to push your order to the front of the queue. Orders placed with Express Dispatch will be dispatched within 48 hours of your order.

Express orders placed before 10:30 am may be eligible for same-day build and dispatch with your controller being delivered the next day (when the 24 or Special Delivery option is selected). Please contact us for availability.

Please note that during busier periods such as the time period surrounding Christmas, there may be a slight increase in dispatch times. If your order is time sensitive, please email us prior to ordering.

We will release our last order dates during November/December for guaranteed Christmas delivery.

Delivery of Custom Controllers is via Royal Mail. Standard delivery in the UK is FREE however you can upgrade your delivery option at checkout. 

Delivery costs and timescales are given at checkout. We cannot guarantee delivery timescales, they are described by Royal Mail as ‘aims’ only. The only guaranteed delivery option from Royal Mail is Special Delivery Guaranteed. This is only guaranteed for deliveries on Monday – Friday. In the event a Special Delivery does not attempt delivery, we will refund your postage.

We ship parcels worldwide using an International Tracked & Signed courier option. All international parcels aim to be delivered within 5-7 working days of dispatch.

During busier periods, such as Christmas, our delivery partners may experience delays that are out of our control. Due to this, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee delivery dates at this time. If your order is time sensitive, please contact us prior to ordering.

Delivery timescales are ‘aim’s only. We unfortunately cannot guarantee any delivery timescales as these are out of our control.

 

Incorrect Shipping Address

We can unfortunately not be liable for sending items to an address that has been incorrectly provided. If you believe you’ve given us an incorrect address, please email us as soon as possible on hello@defygaminguk.com.

Once items are dispatched they are in the control of the courier. Refunds or replacements will not be given when customers have provided an incorrect delivery address nor are Defy Gaming responsible for locating the lost item.

If an item is returned to us due to an incorrect address, there will be a charge to return the item to you to cover both our time in administrating the return and further shipping costs. Our administration costs are £10.00 per item and the shipping costs are calculated as are advertised at checkout at the current time.

All returns/repairs will also be sent back to your original postage address unless agreed otherwise so please state if this has changed.

Missed Deliveries

If Royal Mail try to deliver and you’re not in or refuse the parcel, it will be taken to your local delivery office. More information on arranging redelivery can found here: http://www.royalmail.com/personal/receiving-mail/redelivery/

If you do not collect your parcel within Royal Mail’s time frame (currently a maximum of 18 days) then Royal Mail will return the item to us. Once your item has been received by us we will refund you for your item minus any fees such as postage costs, dispatch costs and restocking fees. Please see our returns policy for more information on charges and terms. Should you still require your item additional postage will be required prior to dispatch, charged at the current rate.

For all other couriers than Royal Mail, please see their website for information on missed deliveries. Most will post a card with reference through your door or you can use the tracking information provided by us. 

 

Increase in Dispatch and Delivery During Busy Periods

Please be aware that during busy periods, such as Christmas, Bank Holidays, sales and postage strikes there may be an increase in both dispatch and delivery timescales.

November and December are notoriously busy for couriers worldwide due to the holidays celebrated such as Christmas, and as such we publish ‘cut-off’ times for delivery by Christmas each year. We also advise that there can be severe delays in delivery due to the high volume with couriers.
